Sonic and Knuckles are now back to normal. Suddenly, Sonic starts to fall. He landed on his hands and knees and panted hard. Knuckles said, "Sonic." He let go of him and walked in front of him. He placed a hand on his shoulder and said, "Are you okay Sonic?" Sonic looked up, smiled and said, "We finally won, buddy." Knuckles smiled too. They both hugged each other tightly with tears in their eyes. Sonic whispered, "I'm so glad you're okay." Knuckles stroked his quills and whispered, "Me too, pal."
