Suddenly Shadow starts to groan. Tails gasped as Shadow coughed up more blood in his hand. Tails yelled out, "Shadow!" Shadow groaned again and looked up weakly at him. Tails said, "See, I told you. I told you that you're in pain because of me." Shadow said softly, "Tails..." He slowly reached out his arm with the bloody hand. Tails quivered in fear and said, "Shadow, w-what are you doing?" Shadow's hand then grabbed Tails' arm and pulled him into his body for another hug. Tails was surprised at first but his eyes then began to tear up. He whimpered, "Shadow..." He then began to cry softly.
