"And you vanted my help?"

During ceasefire, while other teammates were taking time off and/or chatting together, the Spy off the BLU team had been relaxing till the RED Sniper had interfered and not for a friendly beating or anything of that sort; Sniper actually wanted some advice that was completely out of the whole battle concept.

"Yeah... that's right, mate."

"Ugh..." Blu facepalmed, "And you couldn't simply ask your Spy? I'm sure he's had experiences of this whole romance gig himself."

The Aussie frowned, "But see, here's the difference; he's got a Shelia, so he'd only know woman/man love, but in this case..." He paused.

"Yes, of course." Spy slightly smirked, "Is you anything you can tell me of this 'mon cher' of yours?"

"...he likes rockets." He heard a snort from the other man, "Don't judge me!" He then walked off, "Fine. Be that way, bugger."

"..." Spy simply shrugged, "He'll see."

Back around at the RED base, Sniper lay on his back, looking to the bright blue skies. He figured asking a Spy, especially a BLU, wouldn't give him so much luck. If you didn't know by this point, he only wanted advice from someone who had experience of romance, but... not with women. Hell, that was never easy as it sounded as most of the men didn't really seem to swing that away. He was even surprised the Heavy and Medic didn't seem to swing that way with each other cause it looked pretty obvious, but maybe they didn't do otherwise in public. Back to the subject, he had his interest on one particular man in the group among the REDs;

The Soldier. His gruff tone, his way of ordering the men around, how he always was focused on the whole war and such. In fact, there was a lot that attracted the Sniper to the short little American. But he doubted he'd get the same responses back anyhow. Once again, the Soldier didn't seem the guy to like other guys in that sort of manner.

"...It might as well be bloody useless."

He soon grew aware of another BLU teammate just standing by watching with his Scrumpy, "Aye, you looking troubled, boyo."

He glanced at the Scotty, "And you care, why?"

"Talking with our spy."

"I was only asking for something."

The Demoman from the other team grinned, "Heh, someone likes boys."

Sniper scowled, "Shut up."

"No really, someone around here was bound to like men since the lack of lassies is..." He snickered.

The taller man shook his head, turning away. He heard a cry and the sound of a rocket launch, watching the red Soldier flying high into the blinding sunlight. He could picture himself in that man's hold, soaring over the heads of the others, watching in awe or confusion, whatever suited them...

"Ooh... I'm going to lick ya..."

"The bloody hell??" Sniper swung a fist around, having it grabbed by the BLU Demoman. With a grunt, he was pulled, both men falling to the sandy ground. Both got to their knees, pushing at each other holding fists.

"Can't take a joke, eh, laddy?"

"Piss off, you one-eyed wanker!"

The other man grinned manically, "Don't fret, boyo! I'll be gentle!"

Sniper wasn't sure if he could hold off this crazy Scotty for much longer, who was getting too close for comfort till

BANG!

A loud gunshot sounded as a bullet barely missed the two men, who ceased in their struggle.

"Bloody hell..." Demoman and Sniper glanced at the huge shaved bear in from the Aussie's team, who held onto his weapon whom he named Sacha. He pointed it towards the BLU.

"Run home to Mama."

Demoman scowled, taking a last look to Sniper, "Eh I wouldn't be that gentle... catch you later, mate!" he pushed off of the other man before running off back for his base on the other side. Sniper knelt there, dumbfounded how the Demoman would pull a random move like that till the larger man gently pulled him back to his feet again.

"Leetle Sniper alright?"

"...Yeah. Thanks, mate." He then glanced around, remembering he had just lost sight of the Soldier. Didn't even see where he landed.

"SON OF A BITCH!"

Heavy, who of course had begun to brag to himself, was startled at the sudden outburst of the Sniper and how he had gone from bit shaken to outraged. Even Sniper realized how he had reacted out of nowhere like that, looking to the Heavy bit embarrassed.

"...Did Heavy do something wrong?"

"No!" Sniper waved his hands, "no, no, no... well maybe, yes, but it's not your fault. Just, uh..." He raced off, "I gotta go."

Heavy simply stood there, watching the man leave before shrugging and pulling out his sandvich to chew on.
Red Sniper/Soldier pairing fiction. ^^; not my best opening, but do enjoy.
